Magnetic separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, ilmenite and other materials. It is also used for iron removing operations of coal, non-metallic minerals, building materials and other materials.
This wet magnetic drum separator is based on the different magnetic susceptibility between the ore minerals, and do mineral separation by magnetic force. When the slurry into the sorting area of wet magnetic separator, due to different magnetic susceptibility, under the magnetic force, the magnetic particles are adsorbed on the cylinder surface of wet magnetic separator, with the cylinder rotation to the concentrate port of discharge, then from the magnetic system into the concentrate tank by concentrate rinse water. Gangue and weak magnetic minerals cannot be attracted by the magnetic force, under the slurry flow force in the tank, they gravity into tailings discharge pipe in the reverse direction of the cylinder rotating.
